A trunk show is a limited period of time for brides to view additional styles from a select designer outside of what Cowboy Bride has previously curated in store. In most cases, there is special pricing available during the show. Trunk shows are by appointment only with limited time to view so please call us to schedule your appointment if you would like to be a part of the experience. 

What is a Trunk Show?

Most of our designers offer customizations to gowns. For example: Longer train, add sleeves, additional embellishments, etc.

Do you offer custom wedding gowns?

Alterations are a separate cost from the purchase of your gown. We can refer you to a number of seamstresses within town, but we do not offer alterations in-house.

Do you offer/include alterations?

There is a 6-10 month lead time for made to order gowns, depending on the designer. Some designers do offer rush order options at an additional cost if you are less than 6 months from your wedding date.

How long will it take for my made to order gown to arrive?

We recommend that you wear nude undergarments and/or shoes that you may be considering for your wedding day.

What should I wear for my fittings appointment?

We will start with your first fittings appointment where you will be paired with a knowledgeable stylist for 1.5 hours. When you find the gown of your dreams we will then take your measurements and order the closest dress size to be made. Once your gown arrives in our store we will call you to schedule your pick up appointment and do final inspections of your gown. You will then consult with a seamstress for any final gown tweaks (ex: hem the gown and make sure it fits to perfection). There could be 4-5 fittings from start to finish.

What is the start to finish process for ordering a gown at Cowboy Bride?

Made-to-order gowns, sample sale gowns, and all accessories are final sale. Once a made-to-order gown or sample gown is paid for, you are in contractual agreement to follow through on the gown purchased. 

What is your return/exchange policy?

We love ALL animals, but our building does not permit animals in the premise. We kindly ask that you do not bring any pets with you to your appointment. 

Do you allow pets in your studio?

We recommend dress shopping at least 9-12 months prior to your wedding date. This ensures that you are not rushed and gives adequate time from your dress to be made and shipped from our designers across the world.

How far in advance of my wedding should I begin dress shopping?

Yes, our private fittings are by appointment ONLY. We kindly ask for 72 hours notice if you need to reschedule your appointment. Please contact us if you need an appointment outside of our normal business hours. 

Do I need an Appointment to shop at Cowboy Bride?

Alterations costs range from $400-$800 on average. 

How much do alterations typically cost?

Made to order means that there is no stock of your gown and the designer starts making your gown according to measurements once the gown order is placed. Made to order gowns are ordered to the closest numerical dress size (S/M/L/XL) depending on the designer. The gown is not made to EXACT measurements (made to measure). In order to achieve the perfect fit, you must see a seamstress or tailor after your gown comes in.

What does made to order mean for wedding gowns?

We charge a $75 fee for your first fitting appointment. This is a private, 1.5 hour appointment with a 1-1 stylist that will cater to you and your crew. If needed-Second look appointments are $25 for 45 mins.

Do you charge a fee for an appointment?

Yes, We kindly ask for 72 hours notice on cancellations. Since we are a small, by appointment only studio, we do thank you in advance for your cooperation. Any appointment cancellations less than 72 hours out will not be refunded.

Do you have a cancellation policy?

Most of our dress samples range from size 4-12, but please note that your custom gown can be ordered up to size 14-20, depending on the designer. We will also be expanding our collection to include curve sizes soon.

What sizes are available to try on at Cowboy Bride?

Our made to order gowns range from $4,000-$13,000 with the majority of our gowns in the $6,000-$9,000 range.
